Time To Call It A Day

by Rhondi Mullins on January 22, 2015

Dear friends

It’s time to call it a day.  For the last couple of years I have been very inconsistent in posting.  Seems that I just can’t find the time to do it anymore.  I am busy with other things: my quilting, art journaling,  a bit of painting and real estate and so I have decided the time has come for me to close the door on Rose Colored Glasses.

I have enjoyed it so much and have enjoyed getting to know so many of you.  I have made so many wonderful friends through blogging and I’ll still keep in touch, but just wont be blogging anymore.

I am going to miss you.

Thank you for your friendship over the years.

Do you have time for one last cup of tea with me?

You can still find me on Instagram, Facebook and occasionally on Twitter: rhondimullins

Sad you are closing your blog. The photo is lovely. Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada.

Hi Rhondi

I’m sorry to see you go. I’ve enjoyed popping by (even though I’ve not been good at leaving any traces of my visits). Thank you also for stopping by Mias Landliv and for your always so kind comments. I hate to lose yet another blog friend. So many seem to prefer Instagram these days. I do understand it being much easier and quicker though, where time is concerned.

Take care. I hope to still ‘see’ you every now and then.

I really do understand, Rhondi. I’m glad you’ll pop by now and again to say ‘hello’. I’d love one last cup of tea, but please…..may I have mine in the Dainty Blue?

Rhondi, I will miss your blog posts. Will you still visit blogs? If not I will see you on facebook!

All good things must come to an end my friend. I am sorry to see Rose Colored Glasses come to that end, but it helps to know I can see what you are up to on instagram! Yes, I will have one last cup of tea with you here, I understand completely. I have had the occasional thought of quitting blogging myself. I am just not quite ready yet…Onward and Upward as my grandfather used to say. Now, what’s for tea?

Oh, I will miss you here but I will stay in touch on FB and Instagram. I’ve loved every minute spent here with you through the years and I understand your decision. Farewell here, sweet friend. I’ll still see you online. Sending love and hugs,

So sad to see you go Rhondi. I have very much enjoyed your lovely posts, but I understand that other things intervene in life.

You will be missed! I know I too have struggled with this. Life gets so busy. What is your name on Instagram?

Beverly January 23, 2015 at 7:11 am

Oh, Rhondi. I definitely understand. I think is a great blessing that your life is filled with things you enjoy. But, I do miss the past days of blogging. It is so different.

I wish you days of joy. Please keep your promise to stay in touch. Sending love from me to you.

Oh I shall miss you Rhondi!! However, I think I understand – I too am having a hard time finding the time to blog. I shall follow you on Facebook and hope you report on your quilting projects – one of my latest passions!
All the best to you and ENJOY your quilting and art. I shall raise a cuppa to you!!!

I’ll miss even your occasional blog. But because of our blogs we met and now are in book club together ! So see you in March!

Shelia January 22, 2015 at 8:03 pm

Aww, Rhondi, I’m sorry to hear this but you have to do what you feel is best for you. I have enjoyed getting to know you on your lovely blog and always looked forward to your posts. I wish you the very best!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia 😉
