Welcome to my Christmas House Tour 2015.
I love to decorate our house and make it look festive and welcoming for family and friends! So usually before the dishes are washed on Thanksgiving day, I talk someone into hauling the boxes down out of the attic and I put on some favorite Christmas music and then start to put up the tree. There is no tree in our kitchen, but it always gets a makeover. Our kitchen is white with yellow walls with blue and white accessories, but at Christmas it pops with RED. Dollar Tree felt trees from several years ago parade across the top of the china hutch and much of the blue and white china moves out of the way for the red. I like to use these Christmas dishes for our meals throughout the month of December.
Some vintage teacloths, red apples and flocked pinecones get tucked in there too.My red dot teapot gets used a lot this time of year.I love this wooden tree. Behind each door is a scripture verse leading up to Christmas Day.Some candles on the island provide a warm glow in the evenings.
Oh, and of course I have the tea ready. I know you are probably very busy, but I hope you have time to stay. I got my “Christmas Cup of Tea” teacup out especially for you! If you can’t stay, I hope you’ll come back again to see the rest of our house another day.
